History of the Podiatry Point
In 2003 podiatrist Lisa Wilkes took over the longstanding business of Nerylie Whitecross Podiatry located on Stafford Road in Stafford. Lisa renamed the business The Podiatry Point and continued to operate in the Stafford premises.
In March 2006 Lisa opened a new practice in Toowoomba and started to see patients in both Brisbane and Toowoomba.
In November 2007 The Podiatry Point merged with The Foot Spot located on Rode Road, Stafford Heights. The Foot Spot was officially opened and run by Barry Mathews and Matthew Cichero in 2002.
At the time of the merge The Podiatry Point moved to The Foot Spot premises located in Stafford Heights. The merged business continued to use the name The Podiatry Point.
The Podiatry Point now has a staff of 6 podiatrists and 7 support staff working either full time or part time.
The Podiatry Point has a strong focus on client care and health promotion. They also believe strongly in giving back to the community through charity work, sponsorships and research funding.
